Browser Settings
To enjoy the help book functionality in full, customize your
browser settings as follows:
- Enable active scripting (active content).
For example, in IE 6-8 on the Security tab check the box Allow active content to run in files on My Computer.
- Enable frames.
- Enable cookies.
That is needed for storing the size of the frames only.
The help book does not contain any ActiveX controls
but only JavaScript scripts.
To browse the manual installed in a local disk,
you should make a few settings.
For example in IE 6-8:
- Open the Internet Options dialog
- Switch to the Advanced tab.
- Check the Allow active content to run in files on
My Computer box.
